Inspire Brands has recently appointed Yasir Anwar as its new Chief Technology Officer. With over 25 years of technology experience, Anwar has previously held technology leadership positions at major Fortune 500 companies such as Williams-Sonoma, Macy’s, Walmart, and Wells Fargo. His extensive expertise in technology leadership will be invaluable to Inspire Brands.

Anwar’s ability to build in-house and agile technology teams will play a crucial role in enhancing Inspire’s technology capabilities. Co-Founder and CEO of Inspire, Paul Brown, expressed confidence in Anwar’s abilities to help the company develop shared technology capabilities for its iconic brands, enabling faster operations, meeting guest and franchisee needs, and integrating data-driven insights into the business.

As Chief Technology Officer at Inspire, Anwar will oversee various teams including Product Engineering, Data Engineering, Technology Operations, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure and Development Operations. Anwar expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, stating that he is eager to contribute to Inspire Brands’ technology strategy and work with six iconic brands to drive transformative change.
