IFF (NYSE: IFF) announced today that Glenn Richter, the company’s Chief Financial and Business Transformation Officer, plans to retire on December 31, 2024 after three years with the company. A succession process has begun to identify potential internal and external candidates to replace Richter as CFO.

According to Erik Fyrwald, IFF CEO, Richter has made significant contributions during his time at IFF. Fyrwald acknowledges Richter’s leadership in portfolio optimization, strategy development, and shared services agenda that have positioned IFF for long-term profitable growth. The Board and Fyrwald express their gratitude for Richter’s contributions and leadership, as well as his assistance in finding his successor and ensuring a seamless transition.

Richter joined IFF in 2021, leading global finance after holding senior roles at TIAA, including CFO, and Chief Operating Officer of Nuveen Investments. He also has experience in leadership positions at Sears Roebuck, Dade Behring, PepsiCo, and McKinsey & Company.
