The Milwaukee Bucks will kick off their first-round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers at Fiserv Forum on Sunday. Despite losing four out of five regular season games to the Pacers, the Bucks are determined to make a strong playoff run. The Pacers, who have not won a playoff series in 10 years, are making their first appearance in the postseason after missing out for four consecutive seasons.

One of the most significant aspects of this series is the high-powered offenses of both teams. The Pacers had the best offense in the NBA, averaging over 123 points per game, while the Bucks were fourth with 119 points per game. However, the Pacers struggled defensively, allowing an average of 120 points per game and ranking 28th in the league.

On paper, two young players stand out as key contributors to each team’s offense: Oshkosh native Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers and Damian Lillard of the Bucks. Haliburton had an impressive performance against Milwaukee during the regular season, scoring an average of 27 points per game in their five meetings. In contrast, Lillard struggled against Indiana during his four games there, shooting just 32% from the field and 26% from three-point range.

The Bucks have a significant advantage over their opponents in terms of home court advantage in this series, with games one and two scheduled for Fiserv Forum. During the regular season at home, Milwaukee was dominant at Fiserv Forum with a record of 31 wins and only 11 losses. On
