Athletic contests are in full swing this week, with a variety of events taking place throughout the local area. On Thursday, the BAC Mixed Doubles Finals will be held at Lick-Wilmerding, while prep baseball games will feature Redwood at Archie Williams and San Rafael at Terra Linda. The Tam High School baseball team will face Marin Catholic, Branson High School will take on International High School, and Novato High School will play San Marin High School.
Boys lacrosse games will also be in action on Thursday, with Casa Grande facing Marin Catholic, Tam playing Redwood, Terra Linda taking on Justin-Siena, Novato battling Livermore, and Marin Academy going up against Monte Vista. Girls lacrosse teams from Monte Vista and California will also play Redwood High School.
On Friday, the BAC Doubles Finals in prep badminton will be held at San Domenico High School. Prep baseball fans can catch a game between Marin Academy and San Domenico at Albert Park. NorCals for college baseball featuring COM playing at Lassen in Susanville are also on Friday’s schedule. San Rafael high school students should mark their calendars for Prep softball games that day as well; they’ll play Piner high school. And finally, NCS prelims for prep swimming will begin at the Concord Community Pool starting at 10:30 a.m.
