The Green Bay Packers are taking proactive measures to prevent Christian Watson from suffering any more hamstring injuries in the upcoming season. After missing eight games last year due to these injuries, the team is focused on keeping Watson healthy and available for every game.

Coach Matt LaFleur recently shared that Watson visited a lab in Madison to work on solving the problem. LaFleur mentioned that they have explored various aspects of Watson’s body composition to understand his injury triggers better. The team is determined to keep Watson on the field and reduce the risk of injuries for him.

Watson is currently working hard in Florida to ensure he is in the best possible shape for the upcoming season. When he is on the field, he is a highly effective player, and the team is focused on keeping him available for every game. They are evaluating all possible measures to reduce the risk of injuries for Watson, including managing player loads during training and practice.

In 2023, Watson had 28 catches for 422 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his potential as a receiver for the Packers. The team plans to address any controllable factors that may contribute to soft-tissue injuries, with a focus on keeping their top receivers healthy and available throughout the season.

During the previous season, no Packers receiver gained more than 793 receiving yards, with rookie Jayden Reed leading in this category. As one of their top receivers, Watson has shown great promise as a player and will be crucial to their success in 2023.
