The Arena Football League (AFL) is facing potential troubles after the Iowa Rampage, a team in the league, decided to discontinue operations. In a press release on Thursday, the team owners blamed AFL Commissioner Lee Hutton and the league as a whole for not fulfilling promises made to them.

The owners, Trevor Burdett and Mike Taliaferro, expressed disappointment in the failure of the league to support the revival of the AFL and the impact it has had on players across the United States. They stated that they did not take the decision lightly, but felt they had no other choice but to discontinue operations immediately due to the lack of promised support from the league.
