In the town of Bremervörde, Germany, a week-long search for Arian, a 6-year-old boy with autism, has come to an end. On Sunday, over 1,200 people gathered to participate in the final search efforts. Arian left his parents’ home last Monday and has been missing ever since.

The search teams had been scouring impassable terrain for a week without success. However, on Sunday, a coordinated human chain of about 800 people was formed to systematically search every corner of the area. Footprints believed to be Arian’s were discovered, but it was later determined that they belonged to someone else.

Despite the setback, police have continued their efforts using various methods to attract Arian. Officers on horses have inspected canals while drones have searched the area from above. Loud music and fireworks have also been used in an attempt to lure him out of hiding. The search has covered a wide area, including the river Oste.

However, despite extensive efforts by police and volunteers alike, there is no evidence of foul play or a possible wolf attack. The operational strategy of the search has been coordinated with an autism expert to ensure that all efforts are focused on finding Arian safely. The search will continue as authorities strive to locate him and bring him home to his family.
