Miba, a leading Austrian industrial company, has experienced significant growth over the past year. Sales rose by 8.1 percent to €1.205 billion, with 60 percent of the revenue coming from the industrial goods sector and 40 percent from the automotive business. Despite this success, Miba has not disclosed its profitability for several years.

In recent years, Miba has made a name for itself in the wind energy sector, with sales tripling in just two years. This growth was driven by innovative solutions such as plain bearings for gears and friction pads for brakes, which are installed in towers over 400 meters high capable of generating electricity for 80,000 households. In addition to its success in wind energy, Miba has also seen tremendous growth in the e-mobility sector, with sales of components like battery systems and pulse inverters tripling over the past two years.

Despite fluctuations in the electric car market, CEO F. Peter Mitterbauer remains optimistic about Miba’s future. The company is continuing to invest in its production facilities, with plans to expand operations in Mexico, China, and Austria. Miba also places a strong emphasis on research and development, registering nearly half of the 48 new patents and utility models last year came from the e-mobility sector.

Miba’s global presence is another key factor that sets it apart from competitors. The company has 29 locations across Europe, Asia
