Galina Davydova, an Honored Artist of Russia and Associate Professor at the Department of Vocal Arts at GITIS, passed away at the age of 48. The cause of her death has not been disclosed. She was well-known for her roles in popular TV series such as “Soldiers” and “Hour of Volkov.”

Galina Davydova was born in Sovetsk, Tula region, and had a strong educational background in music. She graduated from a music school with a focus on piano and later completed the vocal department at the Music College named after Dargomyzhsky. She furthered her education at GITIS, studying under Natalia Sats, and later pursued her graduate studies at the same institution.

Throughout her career, Galina Davydova made significant contributions to the field of acting and vocal arts. Her talent and dedication to her craft earned her recognition and respect in the industry. Her unfortunate passing is a great loss to the entertainment community, and she will be dearly missed by her colleagues, students, and fans.
