Rocket Science is currently presenting a unique sci-fi horror film, 11817, written by Matthew Robinson at the Cannes Film Festival. The film follows a family of four who find themselves inexplicably trapped inside their house indefinitely. With resources dwindling and life-or-death situations arising, the family must become resourceful to outsmart whatever force is keeping them captive.

Louis Leterrier, known for directing big-budget films like Fast X and The Incredible Hulk, has been set to direct and produce the film. He aims to create an unforgettable experience for movie audiences by portraying characters they can relate to and support throughout their journey. Casting is currently in progress for the film, which will be produced by Leterrier’s Carrousel Studios, Rocket Science, Thank You Studios, Chernin Entertainment (A North Road Company), and 3 Arts Entertainment. The production team includes producers from each of these studios as well as others.

In addition to his work in films, Leterrier has also produced and directed successful TV shows like Netflix’s Lupin and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. His upcoming projects include the final film in the Fast & Furious franchise, which is currently in development. Rocket Science’s Cannes slate for this year includes other highly anticipated films like Ali Abbasi’s The Apprentice and Cliffhanger.

Robinson is represented by CAA, 3 Arts, and Ziffren Brittenham while Leterrier is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360/LBI, Sloan Offer Weber & Dern
