Jay Wasemiller, a freshman from Bartlesville, made his mark in the boy’s golf Regionals on Wednesday. He shot a team-best 76 and earned himself a spot in the State qualifiers next week. Despite Bartlesville finishing in 10th place as a team, Wasemiller’s performance was exceptional.

Lucas Wyatt and Nash Zervas also shot under 90, but it was Wasemiller who stood out with his impressive play. He will now compete at the State tournament on Monday and Tuesday at Oaks Country Club in Tulsa. More coverage on Wasemiller’s progress at State is planned for early next week.
