After sustaining significant damage from a car crash last month, Adonna’s Café and Bakery in Downtown Pensacola at 811 W Garden Street has reopened thanks to the support of the community. The impact caused thousands of dollars in damages, including the destruction of the handicap ramp, front door, water pipe, front bricks, and staircases.

Despite the challenges they faced, Adonna’s Café and Bakery shared a message on Facebook announcing their reopening and expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support from their customers. The business is open for customers to enjoy coffee, treats, meals, and to book events. They also offer baked goods for special orders, such as cakes, cupcakes, and cake pops.

Serena Thomas, co-owner of Adonna’s Café and Bakery, expressed the importance of these items for the safety of their customers. “The handicap ramp is crucial for our customers with disabilities to access our business safely. The front door ensures that our customers can enter and exit our premises easily. The water pipe was important for our food preparation and storage. The front bricks provide stability to our building while the staircases allow us to serve customers on different levels,” she stated.

Pensacola Police are still investigating the crash and have not made any charges or arrests. The incident is being looked into as a possible DUI case. Adonna’s Café and Bakery looks forward to continuing to serve their community and appreciates the support they have received during this difficult time.
