Ben Mason, a former Michigan player and fullback, has officially signed with the Chargers. During his time at Michigan, Mason showcased his versatility by playing multiple positions such as tight end, defensive lineman, and fullback over the span of four years. He contributed to the team by rushing 37 times for 87 yards and scoring nine touchdowns. In addition to his rushing abilities, Mason also caught a touchdown pass and made 14 tackles during his college career. Despite being drafted by the Ravens in the third round of the 2021 draft, Mason was unable to secure a spot on the roster. He later had brief stints with the Patriots and Bears before returning to Baltimore and appearing in one game last season. Now, with a fresh start with the Chargers, Mason will have the opportunity to continue his NFL journey under the guidance of his former college coach, Jim Harbaugh.
