The FIT-Together program at Franciscan Health Michigan City is now accepting registrations for families with children aged 8 to 15. This six-week fitness program aims to improve the well-being of every family member through healthy choices in physical activities, relationships, and emotional health.

The program emphasizes the importance of family resilience and teaches the seven Cs, including control, competence, coping, confidence, connection, character, and contribution. Participants will receive weekly meal kits for their entire household and attend cooking and meal preparation sessions with Chef Nakia. Family-centered exercises led by Trainer Ron Gaston are also part of the program.

FIT-Together sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 4 to July 18 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time at The Temple Total Fitness Center in Michigan City. Comfortable clothing and gym shoes are recommended for all sessions.

This program is made possible through partnerships with Franciscan Health Michigan City, General Insurance Services, Bowen Center, Kia Can Cook, and The Temple Total Fitness Center. While the program is free, registration is required.
