Waipahu High School in Honolulu recently held a blessing ceremony for their new academic health center, marking a significant milestone as the first of its kind in the nation. The center offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare by working alongside and shadowing medical professionals. During the ceremony, Dr. Leslie Chun, CEO of Hawaii Pacific Health Medical Group, spoke about the unique aspects of the academic center and the inspiration behind this innovative initiative.
