In Palm Desert, a commercial structure fire occurred on Sunday morning, destroying four businesses in a 30,000 sq. ft building located in a strip mall. The fire began around 3:00 AM and resulted in the loss of four businesses, which have not been named yet.
The blaze was brought under control by 5:00 AM, but not before six nearby residents were evacuated temporarily. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported. Fire crews will be present at the scene for overhaul and salvage efforts as an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
