Erie is gearing up for its winter sports all-star season as GoErie.com and the Erie Times-News announce the all-District 10 and region teams for the 2023-24 seasons. The focus is currently on girls bowling, with McDowell’s dominance in the Metro League being showcased through the all-star team and bowler of the year selection.

In boys swimming, the Times-News has unveiled the 24 athletes who made the District 10 Boys Swimming/Diving All-Star Team, along with region swimmers/divers of the year and first- and second-team all-stars in three regions. Girls swimming will follow suit, with the District 10 Girls Swimming/Diving All-Star Team being announced, along with region swimmers/divers of the year and first- and second-team all-stars in three regions.

Boys wrestling will be next to be revealed, with the all-District 10 wrestlers and all-region teams/wrestlers of the year in five regions being unveiled in early April. The inaugural season of PIAA-sanctioned girls wrestling has also come to an end, with a total of 12 all-District 10 wrestlers set to be revealed in early April. Finally, boys and girls basketball players will be announced as well, with multiple regions’ teams and players of the year being unveiled in upcoming weeks.
