English player Kyren Wilson dominated the World Championship match against Welsh qualifier Jak Jones with his impressive potting skills. He took a commanding 7-1 lead, thanks to breaks of 52, 66, 62, 90 and another century. The crowd was amazed at his display of skill and power on the green baize.

On the other hand, Jones struggled to keep up with Wilson’s exceptional performance. Despite this, he managed to earn a moment of celebration by scoring a 65 break in the final frame of the session. The Welsh qualifier was playing in his first ranking final and was clearly overwhelmed by the experience.

The match will resume in the evening, and Jones will have to make a strong start if he hopes to put pressure on Wilson. The English player’s lead is reminiscent of Dennis Taylor’s famous victory in the 1985 black-ball final, where he came back from a 7-0 deficit in the first session. Jones will have to channel his match-play skills and determination if he wants to mount a similar comeback against Wilson.
