The children’s business fair held at Acton Academy in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a unique event that supports young entrepreneurs. For the fourth year running, kids aged five to 16 had the opportunity to create and run their own business. This year saw an impressive 70 businesses participate in the fair, giving children a chance to learn about costs, marketing, and customer interaction.
Each child had to submit an application detailing their product costs, selling prices, and marketing strategies. Co-founder of Acton Academy, Zach Harsin, emphasized the importance of teaching kids about entrepreneurship and business skills. Through this experience, children gained valuable insights into running a business and promoting their booth at the fair.
This year’s fair had more participating businesses than ever before, with Acton Academy aiming to expand the event even further in the future. Activities like the children’s business fair empower young people to explore their entrepreneurial spirit and learn important life skills. Acton Academy continues to inspire and support the next generation of business leaders. Subscribe to 10/11 NOW for daily news updates and alerts. Copyright 2024 KOLN. All rights reserved.
