On April 25th, the Virginia Tech Center for Humanities marked a momentous occasion with a special ceremony celebrating the completion of the inaugural class of 2024 Institute for Leadership in Technology fellows. These fellows had undergone a rigorous seven-month training program and earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from Virginia Tech as a result.

As these newly empowered leaders move forward, they are encouraged to embrace and promote the values of the humanities. By reflecting on the question of what constitutes a good life, both in their personal and professional spheres, they have the opportunity to not only experience a personal revelation but also contribute to a cultural revolution that our society greatly needs. This blend of leadership and goodness is essential for creating positive change in the world.

The fellows were congratulated once again on their accomplishments and reminded that they will always have a home at Virginia Tech. This community of like-minded individuals will continue to support and uplift them as they strive to make a difference in the world through their work in technology and leadership, rooted in the principles of the humanities.
