The World Oddities Expo is coming back to Center City with a bang next month, promising an unforgettable day filled with bizarre and peculiar attractions. This traveling festival, known for its unique trinkets, animal bones, and contortionists, will take place on April 27 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from noon to 8 p.m.

Organized by Adam Hutter, the expo is described as a “peculiar paradise where weird thrives.” Since its inception in Philly in 2018, the event has grown in popularity and now makes stops across the country. Last year, it moved to the Convention Center to accommodate a larger crowd.

At this year’s expo, attendees can expect live burlesque performances, pop-up tattoo parlors, macabre art, jewelry, and home decor. There will also be hands-on workshops on taxidermy, butterfly pinning, owl pellet dissection, and more. Past events have featured sword swallowers, glass walkers
