On the same day as their visit to Liuzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College, foreign officials from Laos, Malaysia, and other countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative attended a seminar on Economic Corridor Building & Connectivity Cooperation under the Global Development Initiative. The seminar brought together 29 officials from various countries to discuss important topics related to the Belt and Road Initiative.

The foreign officials were particularly impressed by the high-tech equipment available at the college’s training room during their visit. They had the opportunity to use AR glasses to engage in hands-on activities like high-speed rail maintenance and simulated train driving. The immersive experience allowed them to get a firsthand look at the innovations in Chinese railway technology.

One of the Laotian officials expressed how fantastic it was to have a close-up feel of the cutting-edge technology. The officials also learned about China’s plans for building economic corridors along the Belt and Road Initiative, which aims to connect China with Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Europe, Africa, and other regions through infrastructure projects.
