The defending champion Mt. Lebanon will conclude its series with Central Catholic on Thursday in a rubber game. The fight for first place will be decided in a pair of WPIAL softball sections on Thursday, with early possession of first place up for grabs.

In WPIAL boys volleyball, South Fayette is currently alone in first place in Section 3-2A, one game ahead of both Trinity and Thomas Jefferson. Their match on Thursday could either reinforce their position in first place or lead to a three-way tie at the top.
