In recent news, it has been reported that the Miami Dolphins have made an offer to free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but the conversations regarding a potential deal have not resulted in any concrete agreement. Despite their efforts to sign Beckham, the Dolphins have not yet offered him the kind of money that would make him willing to commit.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Dolphins are trying very hard to sign Beckham Jr., but their attempts have been unsuccessful so far. This is because they are unable to provide him with the kind of compensation that he is looking for at this point in the offseason. It is worth noting that this was also the case last offseason when Beckham signed a one-year deal with the Ravens, which proved to be an overpay as he only caught 35 passes for 565 yards. If Beckham is waiting for a similar offer, he may be waiting for a long time.

Beckham Jr., who missed the entire 2022 season due to a knee injury, has accumulated only 1,421 yards over his last four seasons. Although he is still considered a big name in the NFL, it has been some time since he was among the league’s top wide receivers.
