The annual induction ceremony for the Math and Science Honor Societies at Deer Park High School welcomed 72 new members, including 40 new Math Honor Society members and 32 new Science Honor Society members. Existing members from both honor societies were also recognized for their achievements. The scholars were greeted by advisers Edward Libretto and Cassidy Velle, followed by a keynote speech from Kaleigh Pizzirusso.

Math Honor Society President Muhsin Maqsood addressed the new inductees, emphasizing the importance of their dedication to their studies and their passion for the subjects. He encouraged them to embrace the opportunity to explore the natural world and the role of numbers in it, while engaging in discussions and theories with their peers who share the same curiosity.

Science National Honor Society President Calvin Nguyen praised the new members for their academic excellence and enthusiasm towards their respective sciences. He expressed confidence in the potential of these students to become future leaders in the field of science, not only in Deer Park but also on a global scale. The induction ceremony highlighted the hard work and commitment of the students to excel academically and pursue their passions in math and science.
