The rover team is excited to share the latest update on their five-sol plan from Sol 1148. On Wednesday, the team was in a training class and Ken was traveling, so no updates were posted. However, they are thrilled to report that they have been busy analyzing their surroundings and conducting important scientific experiments.

On Sol 1148, the Mastcam observed McLeod with a 10×1 mosaic to patch a gap in the mosaic from sol 1144. Afterward, they drove for 32 meters followed by standard post-drive imaging. On Sol 1149, ChemCam conducted calibration observations while Navcam and Mastcam did some standard atmospheric observations. The drive on Sol 1148 put them in range of some interesting rocks and their focus now is on analyzing these new surroundings.

On Sol 1150, Mastcam took an 8×4 mosaic of some layered rocks followed by ChemCam and Mastcam observations of targets “Dunkirk” and “Duperow”. Afterward, three APXS observations were conducted of targets “Exshaw”, “Ellis Canyon”, and “Ennis”. On Sol 1151, Mastcam captured an 18×2 mosaic of the “Carlile” area and a 9×2 mosaic of the “East Glacier” target. This was followed by ChemCam observations of Ennis and Exshaw with accompanying Mastcam documentation images. In the afternoon on Sol 115
