Looking to improve your science communication skills? Join the West Virginia Local Science Engagement Network and WVU Science Policy Organization for a three-part event series focused on enhancing your ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

During the workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experienced storytellers from the West Virginia Storytelling Guild, who will provide valuable insights into how to craft compelling stories that engage audiences. The workshops will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday (March 20) and April 18 in the Mountainlair, Greenbrier Room.

In addition to the workshops, an open mic event is scheduled for April 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at a location that will be announced later. This event provides attendees with an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of an audience and receive feedback from fellow participants. Food will be provided during all three events for attendees to enjoy.
