A group of young entrepreneurs from Dortmund have created an advertising platform called the ‘Appucinoo’ application to connect people in the diaspora. The founders, Josip Burazin (33) and Goran Kanjir (32), were joined by Stjepan Duman (35) to develop the platform in the Croatian language. The application provides information on where people from the former Yugoslav countries gather, their favorite hangout spots, services in the Croatian language, and other useful information.

Kanjir and Burazin came up with the idea for the application based on the need for a platform that provides various services and activities in the Croatian-speaking community. The name ‘Appucinoo’ was created by combining the words ‘application’ and ‘cappuccino’, symbolizing the idea of people coming together over a cup of coffee to exchange information and make connections.

The Appucinoo application aims to make it easier for private users to access services within the Croatian-speaking community and for business users to advertise and attract new clients. The platform allows users to create profiles, share information about their products and services, and connect with others in the diaspora community. Currently, users can chat with others on the platform and see how far other users are from them.
