The Museum of Science and Industry is currently the site of a horrific incident in which a man sexually assaulted a lost 10-year-old girl. The assault occurred when the girl was separated from her group and a man offered to help her. He took her to the second floor of the museum where he then followed her into the restroom. The man crawled under the stall door and assaulted her.
Fortunately, the girl was able to defend herself by kicking at the man, causing him to flee from the restroom. The man is being sought by Chicago Police, who are asking for any information about this incident to be directed to the Bureau of Detectives Special Investigations Unit at (312)492-3810.
