The Saskatchewan Roughriders recently added Chase Claypool to their exclusive negotiating list, hoping that the CFL might be his only option to continue his career. However, Claypool is still hopeful for another opportunity in the NFL. To pursue this goal, he visited the Seahawks on Tuesday, who already have DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jaxson Smith-Njigba and Laviska Shenault as their top four receivers.

Claypool began his impressive rookie season with 873 receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns with the Steelers before being traded to the Bears and then to the Dolphins. Despite playing for three different teams in just four seasons, he remains determined to make his mark in the NFL. He became a free agent last month following a season with the Dolphins where he only managed four catches for 26 yards in nine games.

Despite these challenges, Claypool’s visit to Seattle represents another step in his ongoing journey to solidify his place in the league and showcase his skills on the field. The Seahawks have roster spots available for a talented receiver like himself, making them an attractive destination for him as he continues to pursue opportunities in the NFL.
