On Sunday, Talladega saw some of the biggest names in NASCAR racing compete for victory. The winners from the weekend included Tyler Reddick, who scored his first win of the season and sixth of his career. This impressive feat marked his fifth consecutive top-10 finish and seventh in the last eight races. Brad Keselowski also recorded a runner-up finish, climbing into a playoff spot. Noah Gragson finished a career-best third, scoring his first top 10 in the last seven races. Anthony Alfredo tied his career-best finish by finishing third in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race and followed that up with a career-best sixth in Sunday’s Cup race.

Meanwhile, Michael McDowell came close to winning Sunday’s race but was ultimately sent into the wall due to someone else’s block. This unfortunate incident resulted in a 31st-place finish for McDowell. Kyle Busch placed 26th and remains outside a playoff spot, finishing 20th or worse in five of the last eight races. Christopher Bell also faced challenges with a wreck leading to a 38th-place finish, which was the second time he finished 35th or worse in the last three races. He crashed out as the field checked up at Talladega, causing damage to his No. 20 car.

Other notable winners from the weekend included Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Todd Gilliland, Daniel Hemric, and Harrison Burton who all scored season-best finishes.

In addition to these winners and losers, there were some other interesting moments during the weekend at Talladega. For instance, Jesse Love won Saturday’s Xfinity race for his first series victory of the year at just 19 years old. He became the youngest Xfinity winner at Talladega with this impressive achievement.
