Singer Celine Dion has recently shared an update on her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome in a heartfelt post alongside a rare photo of herself and her three sons. She mentioned that March 15 marks International Stiff-Person Syndrome Awareness Day and described her struggle with the condition as one of the most challenging experiences of her life.

In 2022, Dion first announced her diagnosis, revealing that it had affected her singing and walking abilities. Despite these challenges, she expressed her determination to eventually return to the stage and lead as normal of a life as possible. By May 2023, she had to cancel all upcoming performances due to worsening symptoms.

Her sister later disclosed in December 2023 that Dion had lost control of her muscles. However, despite these health struggles, Dion remained optimistic and resilient, inspiring others with her positive outlook.

The photo she shared features Dion and her three sons, René-Charles, Nelson, and Eddy Angélil, smiling together at a go-kart racing event organized by K1 Speed. Her sons are from her marriage to her late husband and manager, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016.

Stiff-person syndrome is a rare, incurable neurological condition with autoimmune disease characteristics. Approximately fewer than 5,000 individuals in the United States are thought to have this condition.

Despite their health challenges, Dion expressed gratitude for the love and support from her family members
