Aztlan Urban Park, a new amusement park located in the Bosque de Chapultepec in Mexico City, is currently undergoing a major renovation project. As part of this initiative, the park has recently installed Intercard cashless technology to enhance the visitor experience.

Enrique Guerrero Bacab, the IT manager at Aztlan Urban Park, commented on the decision to use Intercard’s system: “We conducted an extensive search for software that could provide access control and sales at our park. After considering various options, we chose Intercard due to its reputation as a leading provider of cashless systems for amusement parks and entertainment centers worldwide.”

Veronica Berrera from Intercard oversaw the installation of the new cashless technology system at Aztlan Urban Park. The initial installation includes 18 turnstiles, 10 point-of-sale systems, 12 games, and eight iTeller kiosks. These features will make transactions at the park more efficient and convenient for both visitors and staff.

As construction continues at Aztlan Urban Park, all attractions will be connected to Intercard’s innovative cashless system. Once completed, the park will feature a total of 36 attractions. The use of cashless technology is just one aspect of the park’s revitalization project aimed at providing visitors with a modern and enjoyable experience.
