A car crashed into Future Nails on Eck Circle, near East Third Street and Pearson Avenue, injuring a female employee just before 10 a.m. Saturday, according to state police. The injured woman was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver and passenger in the car were not injured. The driver was trying to park a rental Genesis when the crash occurred.

The incident resulted in significant damage to the front of the building, leading to it being closed until it is deemed safe by the codes officer. Fire officials confirmed that the female employee at Future Nails got injured as a result of the collision. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the driver and passenger in the car were unharmed.

The driver was attempting to park when the collision happened, leading to extensive damage to the building’s front facade.
