In Aiken, three new businesses have opened their doors to the public. Firstly, Okinawa Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bowl is now serving customers at its location on 1695 Richland Ave. East. The restaurant, owned by Oscar Salas with his cousin Frank Salas managing it, offers a variety of options including hibachi entrees, bento boxes, cooked and raw bowls, udon, soba, and tempura. La Parisienne in Aiken has a new partner in Chef Darius Krzywinski who has joined David Meunier as a part-owner of the establishment. Meunier mentioned that Krzywinski is an experienced professional whom he has known since 1991. They plan to expand their offerings to include dinner service regularly in addition to breakfast and lunch options. Last year Meunier had announced a partnership with Trey Bennett but that did not work out as planned.
