On Monday afternoon, a business in Lehigh County was evacuated after reports of a suspicious package in Lower Macungie Township. The incident occurred at the Ryder Logistics warehouse on Congdonhill Drive around 1:30 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky confirmed that the area was evacuated, and part of Route 100 was temporarily closed.

While the road has since reopened, Congdon Hill Drive remains closed at Spring Creek Road. Traffic was heavily affected in the area due to the incident. Shortly after 2 p.m., the Allentown Bomb Squad was called to assist in the investigation, along with K9s and the state police explosives team.

The investigation was still ongoing as of 4:30 p.m., with multiple businesses located near Ryder Logistics being evacuated as a precaution.
