Bud Dupree, a free-agent edge rusher, may soon be joining a new team after completing a visit with the Chargers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Falcons and Steelers have both expressed interest in Dupree, who began his career as a first-round pick for the Steelers in 2015. After six seasons with the Steelers, he signed with the Titans and spent the 2021-2022 season with the AFC South club. In his last season with the Falcons, Dupree recorded an impressive 6.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, and eight QB hits, along with three passes defensed and two forced fumbles in 16 games.

During his career of 119 games with 99 starts, Dupree has accumulated an impressive total of 53.0 sacks, 70 tackles for loss, and 90 QB hits. At age 31, he is a proven pass rusher with experience in the league and could be a valuable addition to any team in need of a strong defensive presence. Whether it’s with the Chargers or another team, Dupree is sure to make an impact on the field.
