The 11th Annual Broward Health Ball was hosted by the Broward Health Foundation this weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The event took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood and was emceed by 7News entertainment reporter Alex Miranda. Over 1,100 attendees from South Florida came together to support the cause.

Shane Strum, the president and CEO of Broward Health, emphasized the goal of ensuring that everyone in the county has access to high-quality healthcare during his speech at the event. Organizers of the event highlighted the importance of raising both money and awareness for healthcare throughout the community and across Broward County.

The main focus of the fundraising efforts at the event is to contribute towards the development of a new emergency department in Fort Lauderdale. This will provide valuable resources for the much-anticipated emergency department in Fort Lauderdale. The Broward Health Ball is expected to generate more than $1 million for Broward Health, which will be used to support this important cause.

The event was a great success in bringing together key stakeholders in the community to support the mission of enhancing healthcare access and services in Broward County. Attendees enjoyed a night of live music, fine dining, and networking opportunities while also supporting a worthy cause. Overall, it was a memorable evening for all who attended.
