Brookline’s Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is currently conducting a Human Services Resident Survey to gain insights into the experiences of residents accessing services. The goal of the survey is to identify any barriers that exist in accessing various human services, and it is available in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and English. Residents are encouraged to take the 10-minute survey to help improve the accessibility and effectiveness of services in Brookline.

This survey is part of the third phase of the Human Services Assessment and Gap Analysis initiated by DPHHS in collaboration with Kulik Strategic Advisors (KSA) in October 2023. In addition to the Resident Survey, KSA will also conduct focus groups among select populations to better understand the data behind residents’ experiences. The initial phases involved developing a resource inventory of human services, collecting provider surveys, and conducting key informant interviews.

Director Sigalle Reiss expressed her excitement for the launch of the Resident Survey, emphasizing how important it is for residents’ voices to be heard when shaping future programs. Participating residents will receive a $10 gift card as a thank you for their time. For any questions about the survey, residents can contact Marcos Alcorn at malcorn@kulikstrategic.com.
