In South Egremont, Massachusetts, Flying Cloud Institute and Greenagers are set to host a science and art exploration program during the upcoming April school break. The program is aimed at children aged 7 to 13 years old and will take place from April 15-18, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with early drop-off available at 8:30 am. The location for the program will be at the April Hill Education and Conservation Center in South Egremont.

During the four days of the program, participants will engage in various activities that include science investigations, art projects, engineering challenges, and nature explorations. In a previous break program, students worked with phosphorescent polymers, learned about sound with oscilloscopes, and took part in an engineering challenge using everyday materials. They also had the chance to design structures with TinkerCad software and 3D printers, learned about sheep and observed wool samples under microscopes, and created felted wool projects. The program concluded with outdoor activities like a walk, scavenger hunt, and a showcase of creations.

The April Hill Education and Conservation Center serves as the headquarters for Greenagers and acts as a resource for community gatherings and education. The property boasts nature trails, vegetable gardens
