During the event, all 353 ballerinas danced en pointe for a full minute, breaking the record for the most ballet dancers en pointe simultaneously.

The main goal of the event was to showcase the healing power of dance and bring people together during times of disconnection. Sergey Gordeev, director of external affairs at YAGP, shared with Gothamist that dance is a powerful art form that can bring people together in a positive way. Gordeev emphasized that this event was not just about breaking a record but also about highlighting the importance of dance as a unifying force.

The success of this attempt highlights how dance can be used as a tool for positivity and unity, especially during difficult times. It is clear that dance has the power to heal and bring people together, and events like this one remind us of its importance in our lives.
