BHSI is pleased to announce the promotion of Galan Riley to Senior Vice President, Casualty, in Canada. In this new role, he will be responsible for managing all BHSI casualty lines in Canada.

Golan has over twenty years of experience in underwriting casualty risks in the Canadian market and joined BHSI in 2014 as Assistant Vice President, Energy Casualty. He was later promoted to Vice President in 2019. His expertise and leadership have played a significant role in the growth and expansion of the casualty team and business over the past decade.

Kathy Reid, Head of Casualty, North America at BHSI, praised both Galan and Darryl for their roles in shaping the company’s success. “We are excited about working closely with Galan as he takes on his new leadership role,” she said. “Darryl’s retirement marks the end of an era for our casualty team, but we are confident that Galan will continue to drive the success of our business into the future.”
