Mark and I eagerly sat in the dimly lit room at the doctor’s office, anxiously awaiting our first glimpse of our unborn child through the ultrasound. As the technician prepared the wand and gel, I rolled up my shirt and secured it with paper towels to prevent any mess.

As the screen flickered to life in front of us, we both felt a wave of anticipation. We watched as the technician moved the wand over my belly, capturing detailed images of our 12-week-old baby girl dancing on the screen. Her tiny arms and legs moved in a lively dance, bringing joy to all of us in the room. It was a moment that solidified our bond with our unborn child and with each other.
