In the Bahamas, nine Pan American teams earned their spots in the World Relay World Cup to be held in Paris in 2024. The United States led the way with four teams qualifying for the Olympic Games. Canada and Dominican Republic also secured their tickets to Paris at the event.

The weekend event showcased the talent of Pan American teams, with the United States dominating the competition. They qualified in several events, including the 4x100m races for both men and women, as well as the 4x400m mixed relay and women’s 4x400m. The only event they did not qualify in was the men’s 4x400m.

Canada also had a strong showing, qualifying in several events such as men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m races. The Dominican Republic secured their spot in Paris with world champions and Olympic medalists in the 4x400m mixed relay.

Marileidy Paulino led her team from Panama to second place in the mixed relay, securing another spot for Caribbean teams in Paris. The United States set a new championship record with a time of 3:10.73 in the grand final of women’s 4x100m race.

Teams from Australia, France, Germany, Great Britain and NI, Netherlands, Poland, and United States qualified for women’s 4×10
