City Arts has received a grant from the Community Health Foundation to fund breakfast and snacks for their Summer Camp students in July. The foundation recognizes the importance of engaging in art, which can reduce stress, boost self-esteem, and provide a creative outlet for emotions. Through their summer camp program, City Arts aims to make art accessible to everyone in the community and promote mental health.

Every year, City Arts hosts a 5-day art camp for children aged 6 to 12. Last year, the camp welcomed 96 students, with 40 of them coming from low-income families who received scholarships to attend. Thanks to the support from the Community Health Foundation, City Arts is able to continue offering their summer camp program this year. The partnership between City Arts and the Community Health Foundation enables more children to experience the benefits of art and creativity during the summer camp.
