Despite finishing the campaign without a trophy, former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes that his former club can compete for the Premier League title with the addition of more depth to their squad. He pointed out that Manchester City has the advantage of having two strong teams that can compete for the title, while Arsenal lacks that depth.

Fabregas highlighted the need for more quality arrivals to ease the pressure on existing players like Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Thomas Partey, and William Saliba. While Arsenal made several signings last summer to bolster their squad, Fabregas suggested that they still need to add more depth to their attacking options.

He praised the performance of Kai Havertz but emphasized that he is not a natural striker. Fabregas believes that Arsenal needs to sign a top striker who can guarantee goals throughout the season in order to improve their title chances.
