Rémi Quirion, the president of Ingsa, recently spoke with RPN about the organization’s upcoming 10th anniversary conference in Rwanda. The International Network for Government Science Advice is set to hold its fifth in-person event (sixth if you include a virtual conference held in 2020) and will mark the first time it will be held in a Global South country.

Quirion spoke about the importance of bringing together members from around the world to share knowledge and collaborate on advancing science advice in government. “This conference is a unique opportunity for our members to come together and learn from each other,” he said. “We’re excited to see how we can work together to make a positive impact on society.”

The conference will provide an opportunity for members to engage with one another, share best practices, and discuss future plans for the organization.
