Three young men were arrested in connection with a series of burglaries that took place at businesses in Stafford last year. According to Ryan Wilbur, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office, the third suspect was captured earlier this month, at the age of 17. The two other suspects, aged 16 and 17, had already been arrested and were placed in the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.

The burglary spree began on November 9 at Nara Thai Cuisine and Stafford Tobacco and Vape Shop, both located on Garrisonville Road in North Stafford. During these thefts, cash, wine, and vapes were stolen. On December 8, the vape shop was once again targeted along with Shaz Unique Studio Salon on the same road. Vapes, cash, and a laptop were taken during these heists. Two days later, Discount Tobacco and Vape on Deacon Road in the southern part of the county was also broken into.

Deputies who were nearby were able to apprehend one of the suspects at that time due to surveillance camera footage that helped identify them. All three teenagers are facing multiple charges including breaking and entering, grand larceny, destruction of property and conspiracy.
