Online shopping is becoming more conscious and informed among Italian consumers, with 47% using price comparison tools to access product information and 46% searching for special offers and discounts. The report also highlights Italy’s growing interest in the second-hand market, particularly in electronics, with a 4% increase in interest compared to the previous year. Used smartphones and notebooks are among the most sought-after products.

The report also outlines the preferences of different age groups: electronics are popular among 45-55 year olds while fashion and accessories are favored by 25-34 year olds. These insights provide valuable data for online retailers to develop effective sales strategies and leverage price comparison platforms to reach a broader audience.
