Carl Albert High School defensive back Trystan Haynes, a four-star prospect from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has been chosen to play in the 2025 All-American Bowl. The annual East vs. West matchup will take place on January 11, 2025, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and will be broadcast live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET. Haynes was selected by the All-American Bowl Selection Committee which includes representatives from the All-American Bowl, 247Sports and NexGen founder Brent Williams.

Only 100 football players are chosen each year to wear the prestigious All-American Bowl jersey. As an All-American player, Haynes has the opportunity to receive awards such as the Player of the Year Award, the Lineman of the Year Award, the Defensive Player of the Year Award, the Man of the Year Award and MVP award. The game will showcase some of the top high school football players in America with millions of television viewers and thousands of fans in attendance.

The All-American Bowl is an NBC Sports-owned event that is part of a lineup of elite sporting events including Sunday Night Football and Olympics. It is one of many prestigious high school all-star events organized by NBC Sports that attracts talented athletes from all over America who have dreamed of playing on this stage since childhood. With its rich history dating back decades and having produced hundreds of draft picks, Superbowl champions, Pro bowl selections and Heisman finalists among others it’s no wonder why it’s considered as one of most watched high school all star event by many sports enthusiasts
